At Paint Inc, we will clean your garage floor, repair any areas needed and prepare it by grinding or acid etching. Floor preparation is critical for a successful coating. Quality epoxy jobs involve multiple coats to insure a very tough and resistant coating that will last for years.

Many times this will involve an epoxy primer or 50/50 epoxy/solvent which is applied first. The first coat will make sure the bonding is tight and that the finished product will look smooth.

The second coat is the color coat or base coat, you have a few options to choose from as far as color. This coat can either be a solid color finish or it can also receive the application of colored acrylic paint flakes. The final coat is the clear coat, a polyurethane top coat.

This is optional if your garage is exposed to the sun, epoxy will yellow or amber, as the industry calls it, when exposed to sunlight over a period of time.
